Which benefits qualify for a free insulation grant?
In order to qualify for the UK government free insulation grant only those in receipt of certain benefits will fit the criteria to claim free insulation grants 2022.
The applicant’s property will be of a certain age, structure and type. This allows us to determine how energy efficient the property is using what's known as a Deemed Score calculator. This also determines whether a contribution would be required to proceed with the installation.
The state of your property will also be taken into consideration. The older and the less energy efficient your property is, the larger amount of funding will be granted to you.
You should be a homeowner occupying the property that is on a qualifying benefit below. You may also be a landlord with a qualifying tenant, or a qualifying tenant with your landlord's permission.
